Engineering entrance exams

After 1990's, there is a tremendous increase in growth of educational institutions which certainly helps in bringing more opportunities for youth in India. In last decade from 2000-01 to 2010-11  20,000 more colleges are added as figure 12,806 in 2000-01 goes to 33,023 in 2010-11, which shows a growth rate of more than 150%. In the global  market, India is considered as a global technical talent hub which provides many employment opportunities to talented individuals worldwide.
  Every 6th Indian student is going for engineering education on professional and degree level. There are entrance exams designed for admissions in various college like AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Examination), IIT-JEE(Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination), UPSEE(Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) etc. IIT-JEE is one of the toughest and prestigious exams in the country for admissions in engineering colleges. This exam is considered as a gateway for 16 IITs which are governed and funded by central government and are given the status of  institute of national importance. These institutions provide high quality education along with world class infrastructure.
   AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Examination) is another entrance exams which acts as gateway for the admissions in various NITs(National Institute Technology) and some other prestigious deemed universities. ''Top 10 engineering colleges in delhi ncr'' admits students on the basis of this exam. Most goverment colleges who takes students from AIEEE are funded by central government.
  UPSEEE(Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance Examination) is considered as gateway of admissions in engineering colleges in UttarPradesh. There are only about 6 colleges through UPSEEE which are government funded remaining all are private funded and affiliated to UPTU(Uttar Pradesh Technical University). ''Top 10 UPTU engineering colleges''  are located in delhi ncr region. In this region in last decade there is a huge flow of new colleges providing b.tech degree. there are about thousands of private colleges in Uttar Pradesh. ''Engineering college in delhi ncr'' region are more exposed to corporate culture and industry pattern as they are located very closely to companies and have good relations with them which resulting in helping students a great assistance in finding jobs after completion of their degree. Alongwith this there are many colleges which are not complying with the standards of AICTE and do not help their students in their career becoz of their low quality infrastructure, faculty and corporate relations etc.
  Engineering entrance exams are used to check the mental ability of the students needed for engineering studies.
